Julia Crane’s Anti-Valentine’s Day Post
| February 5, 2013 | Posted by Alli Potter under Giveaway |
Hey guys…it’s Alli here today (Jenn’s got the day off).
I am happy to bring a new guest post from my amazing boss and friend, author Julia Crane!
(Jenn actually introduced us and now we are one big happy family).
Julia is a little bit shy, but don’t let her fool you. She is a hysterical quit-witted woman who I have come to highly enjoy, so I have no doubt that she will do this post justice!
Take it away Jules!
Hello Indie Supporter fans!
(Thanks for the opportunity to be on the blog Jenn, and thanks for the intro Alli…no pressure ACK!)
Happy Hallmark Day everyone!
No wait, that’s not right…
I mean…
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I may be married with three amazing children (and I do love my husband to death…most days lol), BUT let’s just say I am happy to be keeping up with the theme of ANTI Valentine’s Day!
I was never a big fan of Valentine’s Day, especially when I was younger and single.
So if you are single this Valentine’s Day and are feeling a little left out, here are a few things to make you laugh…
Funny break up texts are always good for a laugh:
If you have just gone through a bad break-up here are a few funnies for you…
You have to admit, once in your life you have wanted to say that to someone. I know I have!
Ever had a text message break up?
According to UrbanDictionary.com (don’t worry I don’t use that site for my actual book writing):
Text Message Breakup is defined as:
1) The lowest of the low. Quite possibly the best way to let all your soon-to-be angry ex’s friends know you have no balls.
2) Recent statistics also show text message breakups automatically lower testosterone levels by 50%.
I never really got the whole cupid with a bow and arrow concept.
It doesn’t scream “love” to me, but I’ll go with it for that picture.
And remember, you always have your book boyfriends to spend Valentine’s Day with : )!
Enjoy your day however you plan on spending it! Thanks for stopping by to read my post!
See Julia that wasn’t so bad :0)! Now here is a little info on our beloved Julia:
(How adorable are they by the way!?)
Julia Crane is the author of the Coexist: Keegan’s Chronicles. She has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Julia has believed in magical creatures since the day her grandmother first told her an Irish tale. Growing up her mother greatly encouraged reading and using your imagination. Although she’s spent most of her life on the US east coast, she currently lives in Dubai with her husband and three children.

I have to say when I was single I had bad v-days and good v-days. In the end it was almost the same effect. I still had the chocolates and a glass of wine
this post made me giggle
Thanks for the giveaway! I’ve been intrigued by Julia Crane books for a while now.

I been wanting to read these books!!! Thanks for the giveaway
Great anti-Valentine’s Day post, Julia!! Love all the pics, especially
I am also married, and have always been in steady relationships before that (no dating for me, thanks!!), and I’ve STILL never liked V Day!!! Never quite understood why some women love the day so much, either. Used to work with a bunch of women who would basically compete to see who would get the largest (read: most gaudy) arrangements on V Day. And their significant others had specific instructions to sendbthem to WORK, of course…cause the flowers/csndy/teddy bears/balloons are worthless if they get sent or brought HOME, where no one can see them…Sheesh!! It’s all rather silly to me…but then I’ve never been a big romantic
So this post is perfect for me!! Thanks!
Amazing Anti-Valentine’s Day Post!!! I couldn’t agree more.
Thank you for the giveaway!
Nice covers.
Oh my gosh this post had me laughing! Anti V-day, brilliantly different! Great book choices too for the giveaway!
Since I don’t celebrate V-day, I can say – nice post
