Have I got a stellar post for you today!
One of my BFF’s and author of some of my fave books is here to give you not only a giveaway but a little pre Valentine Holiday cheer.
Actually, it’s more like the ANTI Valentine’s day post.
Why you ask?
Well it’s simple really, she knows me all to well and knows how I feel about this holiday.
Call me jaded, it’s ok, I’m good with that and no one loves a more sarcastic and funny post more than I.
So my lovely Cambria was all so gracious enough to both accommodate you with the chance to win some awesome swag and me, a killer post.

So it’s the time of year when everywhere you go there are big heart shaped boxes of candy, flowers and stuffed toys declaring love.
It’s nice, right?
Unless of course you have recently gone through a break-up, been on the brunt end of some loser with issues, or have been single for far too long with NO prospects of dating in the near future.
If you are one of the people I mentioned above then going out this time of year probably makes you want to stab yourself in the eye with a pencil to avoid seeing just one more mushy greeting card.
Well then, this is the post for you.
This is my Anti-Valentine day post.
This is dedicated to all the people out there who think valentine’s day is for loser’s (or for anyone who secretly likes it but pretends they don’t because they never get anything but secretly hope they will every year).
This is my list of fun things to do on Feb. 14th that do not scream love is wonderful.
Anti- Valentine Day Fun Ideas

1. Watch a movie that has no mushy love in it. Examples: So I married and axe murderer or any of the Saw movies.
2. Have a party for single friends and serve these sarcastic candy hearts:

3. Dance it up to this Ant- Valentine’s Day CD (really is available at Amazon for under $20)
(Totally buying it after I finish this typing up her post)
4. Wear this shirt to express how you feel.

5. Have a spa day and get a massage, your nails and hair done. Then go out and get yourself a latte, a drink or stroll through the bookstore. Make all the men who are being drug around by their dates wish they were still single so they could hit on you.

Ok, that was a rhetorical question from Cambria but let me go ahead and answer it.
Yes, I am totally anti V Day and sometimes would like just knock down all these damn big displays when I walk into EVERY STORE. But I refrain because I am a civilized person.
Hey, Don’t give me that look, I SO am.
I plan on just spending it with the most important man in my life and that would be my little boy who will make the day totally awesome. (Insert AWW here)

Cambria Hebert is the author of the young adult paranormal Heven and Hell series and the upcoming Death Escorts series. She loves a caramel latte, hates math and is afraid of chickens (yes, chickens). She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. Even when I was married I hated Valentine’s Day… I think it’s a stupid holiday. A good movie to watch would be My Bloody Valentine with Jensen Ackles. It’s very anti-valentine, plus has a super hottie.
We should have an Anti-Valentine’s Day holiday…:D
While I don’t hate any one holiday, I hate what they have become….. nothing but tools for the promotion of consumerism.

Ha ha I would pay money to see you march into a store and knock over a Valentine’s Day display. I was in the stores yesterday and they were very blatant. I know how you feel, I remember those days long ago when I was between boyfriends and VD sucked hard core. You will make it through. I can’t wait to see you rocking your shirt!

Valentine’s Day is too much pressure to be romantic. The same gestures would be much more romantic if they were spontaneous and not forced.
Great post! I am married and still don’t like Valentine’s Day! And my husband hates it even more than I do (though perhaps that’s not so surprising, him being a GUY and all). I’m with Gabby above – it’s all about one more way to make corps some money! Love the post!
