Hello Dearies, (Once upon a Time ABC reference cause I love me some Rumplestiltskin)
I am here today to tell you about an AWESOME blog/site that I stumbled upon one day on Facebook.
Ok, well actually someone asked me to like the page but I get so many requests, I forgot who it was.
If it was you, THANKS!
Anyhow, here’s the Facebook Link :
https://www.facebook.com/SparringStepsisters?fref=ts
And here’s the actual Blog :
http://sparringstepsisters.blogspot.com/
They have the most unique and fresh way of reviewing books that I have seen so far and was just so impressed that I had to hit them up for an interview.
As a matter of fact, they probably think that I am barking (woof woof) mad but I just couldn’t help myself because I just thought the idea and site is wicked cool.
Sparring Step Sisters just recently started out and like me, they need some follow love, too.
But that isn’t the only reason you should follow them, check out what they told me about their site and you will def want to follow them (esp you authors,
)
Kismet met Kindred Potts through a chance encounter at a local eatery while she was people watching. It wasn’t Kindred’s aura that made her aware of this beautiful and graceful woman who sat reading a book. It was that book, and Kismet knew that they would be Friends for life. She saw how Kindred was making faces and commenting on how dismal the book was. Kismet was truly baffled; while the world was secretly in love with a fictional character and all his 50 Shades, she was truly disgusted by this book and how “tame” it was. Kismet casually sat down at her table and said, “How can you not love that book?”
For Kindred, The chance meeting of Kismet was unexpected when an abrupt question prompt her to pay attention to this candid woman. “How can you not love that book?” Kindred was drawn to Kismet’s feisty persona, and only made her more fascinated to this outspoken person, that she would randomly sit at a strangers table and ask her to justify why she couldn’t possibly love this book. The sparring of this “tame” book brought out her inner-Kismet and she was able to go head to head in what had to be the match of a lifetime. Immediately after the match was ending, it was a simple sentence that changed everything for Kindred, “We’re Kindred Spirits and it was Kismet that brought us together.” Kindred knew immediately that they would be sisters for life.
Thus begun the first sparring match and how these two polar opposite women became Stepsisters; Sparring Stepsisters™ !
Basically, what they do is review a book from both points of view and may even “Spar” about it.
I think this is just brilliant.
What you as an author needs to do is just email them about getting “sparred”, they will spar your book, and you can even get a wicked cool t-shirt

and button to display on your own site.

They have no genre limitations and only ask for donations to pay for the actual swag.
How cool is THAT?
Now, please go and show them some blog love, I have a feeling these ladies will be a huge success!!!

You rock <3.
You rock!
Off to check it out!
Tell me what ya think!!
Wow, this is really cool. I haven’t seen anything like this before and I find myself wanting to be “Sparred” I admit I am afraid tho…. lol. Did you see all that blood? HA HA HA.
Anyway, I will totally check this out!
I know right? I LOVE this concept.
